Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintDonna M. Schneider, age 81, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at United Hospital Systems-St. Catherine’s Campus.
Born on May 19, 1934, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Adelle (Lorenz) Rusecki. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
Donna was united in marriage to William Gehrke in 1952, that marriage was dissolved in 1970. In 1974, she was remarried to Reinhard C. Schneider. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Donna was employed as a cashier with Pick N’ Save for 12 years.
She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and of the Kenosha Women of the Moose Chapter #155.
Donna will be deeply missed by her three children, David W. (Cindy) Gehrke, Paul M. Gehrke and Annette (Joseph) Hebior; a brother, Neal (Nancy) Rusecki; a sister, Lois (Gerald) Mylnarek; four grandchildren, Scott (Kelly) Gehrke, Jason (Heather) Gehrke, Kimmie (Joe) Bonn and Andy (Heather) Hebior and six great grandchildren, Haley, Jenna, Aubrey, Brody, Trask and Axtin.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Reinhard; a brother, Kenneth Rusecki and her grandson, Joseph Hebior IV.
Service Date July 6, 2015
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Donna will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, beginning with the Women of the Moose Chapter performing their Closing of the Circle Service. Private inurnment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
