Donna L. Becker, age 81 of Kenosha, died on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Hospice Alliance/Hospice House, with her family by her side.
Born in Kenosha County on February 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ada (Gayhart) Muhlenbeck. She attended schools in Kenosha County and was a graduate of Wilmot High School.
On October 20, 1956, Donna was united in marriage to Donald R. Becker at Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol. They were blessed with two children and 56 years of marriage before Don passed away on June 17, 2013.
She was employed with Badger Press for many years and also selflessly dedicated her time as a caretaker for children as a child care provider and a foster parent.
Donna was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and in her spare time volunteered with Hospice Alliance. She also enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sheree (Mark) Klabo; her son, Tim (Lynda) Becker; four grandchildren, Jonathon Becker, Allysson Becker, Troy (Shawn) Klabo and Kate (Scott) Hogle and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Muhlenbeck.
Funeral Services honoring Donna’s life will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5927-37th Avenue. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation for Donna will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Alliance caregivers, Joanna and Becca and also to the caregivers at the Addison, Crystal and Jessica.
