Donna was the daughter of the late Henry Patrick and Belle (Brouillard) Slattery. She was born July 12, 1929 in Iowa City, Iowa. On December 31, 1953 she married Roy Carl Primuth in Chicago.
Their children are David Roy (James Ueda) Primuth and Debra Ann Bruins; grandchildren, Benjamin (Sarah) Bruins, Daniel (Ashley) Bruins and Peter Bruins (Susan Endres); greatgrandchildren, Jonah, Asher, Esther, Trey and Laney Bruins.
Donna graduated from Ottumwa High School, Ottumwa, Iowa and Northwest Missouri State College in Maryville, Missouri. She taught school in Des Moines, Iowa; Columbiaville, Michigan; and at Bain Elementary in Kenosha, Wisconsin; retiring after thirty years of teaching.
She was a member of Gideon International and Messiah Lutheran church for over sixty years. She was also a member of the Wisconsin Education Association and Wisconsin Retired Educators’ Association.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Carl Primuth; two children, Danny Carl and Dawn Ann Primuth; son-in-law, Paul Bruins; and her parents.

SERVICE LOCATION Piasecki Funeral Home
Funeral services honoring Donna’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
A visitation for Donna will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Gideon’s International, 15035 Pomona Rd, Brookfield, WI 53005 or Messiah Lutheran Church, 2026 22nd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140 would be appreciated by the family.
