Born on October 31, 1934, he was the son of the late Frank and Salameo (Sobieralski) Kleczka. He attended local schools in Milwaukee and moved to Kenosha in 1995.
Don met the love of his life, Marie “Toni” Capelli at Dairyland Greyhound Park. Don proposed to Toni, on his birthday, while they were on a cruise to San Juan Puerto Rico. They were united in marriage on June 6, 1997 and they were blessed with 25 years of marriage.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Don was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
He was employed as a supervisor for Ember Meats and was formerly employed by S.C. Johnson.
Don loved to do the New York Times crossword puzzle every morning, if he couldn’t find one he would print one out so he could do a crossword puzzle every day. He was a huge Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. He enjoyed traveling especially to San Francisco, New Orleans, Memphis, Florida and Up North. Don especially loved to fish with his whole family.
He will be missed by his wife, Toni; his children, Susan Lueck, Karen Kleczka. Steve Kleczka, Anthony Stefani and Thomas (Kelly) Stefani; his 14 grandchildren; his 15 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way; his best friend and baby brother, Lee and his best buddy, Brody.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his daughters, Cindy Kleczka and Kathleen Piasecki and his 6 siblings.

Memorial services for Don will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 5821 10th Avenue, Kenosha, WI.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 9:15 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
