Born on July 24, 1935, he was the son of the late John and Valeria (Modroski) Dezek. He was a graduate of Bradford High School.
On February 29, 1984, Donald was united in marriage to Margaret Popp.
Donald owned and operated Don’s Hobbies in uptown Kenosha for 50 years.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Don was a member of the Ford Model A Car Club, Amity Lodge #692 Croatian Fraternal Union and the Uptown Kenosha Inc. He enjoyed collecting trains, model kits, electronics, and fixing things like vacuum cleaners, etc. He loved to take road trips with his wife Marge and enjoyed eating out.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret “Marge”; his niece, Pamela Dezek and his nephews, John, Rick, Mark and Ray Dezek.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, George Dezek and John Dezek, Jr and his nephew, William Dezek.

Memorial services and full military honors honoring Donald’s life will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
