Born in Evanston, IL on February 18, 1950, she was the daughter to the late Charles and Violet (Yehl) Ahrens. Diane was a graduate of Niles North High School.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she was involved with various church groups and the choir. For 20 plus years, she bowled with the Church Fellowship Bowling League and on Tuesday mornings, she would enjoy spending time with the Senior Ladies Bowling League. Diane continually gave back to the community by volunteering at local elementary schools. She enjoyed cooking and baking with her grandson, Little Anthony, and was an avid reader.
On December 26, 1980, she was united in marriage to Michael Harloff. Their union was blessed with 40 years of marriage.
Diane was employed as a bank teller for Southport Bank, until her retirement in 2009. She also was employed with Bank One, First National Bank of Kenosha and Bell Federal Savings and Loan in Lincolnwood and Chicago, IL.
She was many things to many people, a loving wife and mother, a supportive sister, a caring grandmother and a friend and kind neighbor. Diane is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughter, Vicki (Anthony) Wells; her grandson, Little Anthony; and her brother, Thomas Ahrens of Morton Grove, IL.

SERVICE LOCATION St. Pauls Lutheran Church
A memorial service honoring Diane’s life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 8760-37th Avenue.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 8760-37th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53142 would be appreciated.
