He was born on April 22, 1947; the son of the late Howard and Ruth Ann (Glenzer) Veldman.
On January 1, 1993 in Rosendale, WI, he was united in marriage to Pamela Joy Engberg.
Dennis served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He was a fuel tanker truck driver hauling for various companies until retirement.
Dennis was an active attendee of Kenosha Bible Church and a leader for numerous kids fishing camps. A true outdoorsman, he loved spending time camping in Lakewood, WI. Dennis made friends easily and had a heart of gold.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela; his children, Cathy (Ken) Oppermann, Denise Veldman, Joel (Jodi Heimos) Krogh, Melissa (Robert) Romaine, Andrew (Bobbi Jo) Veldman, Allison (Fred) Wagner and Ruth (Jeremy) Peterson; 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Barb (David) Drewa; a brother, Steve (Dolores) Veldman and sister in law, Peg Veldman.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a son, Lukas Veldman and a brother, Howard Veldman, Jr.
Service Date October 21, 2018
Funeral Services honoring Dennis’s life will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Kenosha Bible Church, 5405 67th Street. Interment will take place on Monday, October 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in North Bristol Cemetery, just east of MB, on the Northside of Hwy 50.
