In this time of mourning, we remember David Wayne Harper, a son, brother, and father. Born June 16, 1969, in Hutchinson, KS, David passed away at his home at the young age of 55 on December 15, 2024.
David is survived by his father, Rev. Gale Wayne Harper; mother, Karyl Irene Harper; sister, Karyl Lynn (Mark) Deckard in Evansville, IN; son, Daniel James Harper in Kenosha, WI; daughter, Miranda Harper in Clarksville, TN; nephew, Eric (Sarah) Deckard; nieces, Amy (Mark) Murry in Evansville, IN, Katie Deckard in Murray, KY.
David was hard-working, dedicated, and spent 29 years working for AT&T Inc. Some of the hobbies that brought David joy included baseball, guitars/music, golf, and playing billiards. Rest in peace David; you will be dearly missed by many friends and family.
A memorial service will take place in Evansville, IN on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN 47720.
