Born on February 10, 1957, to Hugo and Inez (Hall) Culver, David was raised and lived in Kenosha. On May 2, 1978, he married Carol M. Sunderland. They later divorced. Following their divorce, they remained close friends and attended all functions, putting family first. David was known for his warm smile and gentle demeanor. He had a knack for making every gathering a little brighter, whether it was sharing stories around a fire or lending a hand to those in need. His legacy will live on in the memories he created and in the lives he touched.
He was educated at local schools and went on to work as a foundry worker at Arneson Foundry for many years. David had many interests, including golfing, model trains, camping, traveling and ships. He always enjoyed watching the Packers play and listening to classic rock.
David was a devoted father to his surviving children, Phillip (Kristina Del Frate) Culver, Rachel (Josh) Fleming and David Culver, Jr.; grandchildren, Andrew (Brittany), Moriah, Nathaniel, Hans, Larz, Gianna and Marcella; and great grandson, Thaddeus, who all will remember him as a source of wisdom, guidance, and endless support. David is further survived by his siblings and nieces and nephews. He cherished the bonds he formed with his family, who brought joy and companionship into his life.
David is preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, Carol.
