Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintDavid Matthew Dickinson, age 56 of Menomonee Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 28, 2015, in Brussels, Belgium.
Born in Kenosha on February 20, 1959, he was the son of Charles and Ann (Goodman) Dickinson. He attended local schools and graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
On December 23, 1998, he was united in marriage to Sandra Donaldson. They made Menomonee Falls their home since 1999 and were blessed with three children.
For 30 years David was employed with Harley Davidson; most recently he held the position of Senior Project Engineer. David traveled to Belgium for Harley Davidson. He was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineer (SAE) and a H.O.G. member.
David was active in his children’s lives; coaching football youth teams and served as a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #109. He would emphasize fun –making that a priority especially going to festivals and Friday Fish Fry’s. There was no doubt David was passionate about all things Harley Davidson Motorcycles; servicing, restoring or building. He enjoyed attended the motorcycle swap meets in Woodstock, IL and Davenport, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his children, Michael, Jacob and Rachel; his mother, Ann Dobrinska; his five brothers, Leif (Ruth) Dickinson, Paul Dickinson, Rick (Joan) Osborne, Bob ( Peggy) Osborne and Charlie Dickinson along with many loving nieces, nephews, friends and extended Harley Davidson family.
David was preceded in death by his father, Charles and his sister, Linda Mathey.
Service Date September 12, 2015
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
