David was born to the late Willard and Victoria (Gabron) Krout in San Francisco, CA on May 30, 1949. David and his twin brother, Tom, relocated to Kenosha shortly after their birth where they were raised by maternal grandparents, and an aunt and uncle.
Educated in the schools of Kenosha, David attended St. Anthony grade school and graduated from St. Joseph High School Class of 1968. David went on to attend Gateway Technical School and other local colleges. He was employed in security services for over 30 years until he retired due to health issues. While employed, he worked for Schmidt, Burns, Pinkerton, and other companies. He was best known as a kind, friendly, jovial person who thoroughly enjoyed helping customers.
In his spare time, he and his brother bred tropical fish for over 40 years and supplied many local pet shops and wholesalers between Milwaukee and Chicago. He had also been a former member of the Kenosha Chapter of the Knight of Columbus.
David is survived by his brother, Tom; his beloved furry friend, Bailey; numerous cousins, and family friend, Juan Villareal. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a special cousin, Cathy Rochau.
Special thanks to Dr. Abbo, Dr. Joshi, and their staff, the Kenosha Fire Dept. Paramedics and Officers, as well as the numerous caregivers at United Healthcare, and the staff of Grand Prairie Physical Therapy for their care of David.
Private services in honor of David will be held at a later date.
