I knew Dave through the Lincoln Park Chamber. He was always there with a huge smile and would seek me out to chat! He was such an amazing advocate for JPA. His passion for the organization and for helping people was incredible. He will be incredibly missed.

I am so saddened to hear of David's passing. The last time I talked to him (at an LPCC networking event, I'm sure), he was talking about his upcoming retirement. David was a wonderful, kind, funny man and I'm glad I got to know him. Sending healing prayers to his family.

I went to school with Dave from first through 12th grade, and although we were never close, we always had a great conversation when we ran into each other. David was one of those rare 'good people' that you hear about once in a while. I will miss his sense of humor. May God grant his family and friends peace, and the knowledge that Dave is with the Lord. Dawn (Steckbauer) Truelsen

To the family of Dave Wiercinski: The news was so unexpected and still hard to believe. We sincerely appreciate your notification and send our condolences. We met Dave playing volleyball at Park Place and developed an immediate and unbreakable friendship. Just this past summer we spent a weekend visiting Dave in Chicago and catching up on old times. True friends are a wonderful gift. Memories of Dave’s friendship will be cherished. Our prayers are with you. Todd and Julie Wanless
