Born on September 22, 1943, he was the son of Clement G. and Helen (nee: Junokas) Genevich. Dave grew up on Chicago’s SW side and attended The Immaculate Conception Grammar School and De LaSalle High School. He continued his education at The University of Illinois at Champagne.
He was an accomplished photographer and worked in the photo industry. Dave was a dedicated father, who looked at his children with great love and pride. His granddaughters were an amazing source of joy as he followed their every achievement.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Genevich; his children, David (Sheila), Laura, Clinton (Angie) and Brian (Kristin); his granddaughters, Maggie, Layla and Kyley; his step-granddaughter, Nina and his sister, Bernadine Genevich.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Timothy and his sister, Rita Gannon.

Memorial services honoring David’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 25, 2021 at Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum, 880 Green Bay Road, Kenosha Wisconsin 53140.
