Sidney “Dave” Wells, age 71, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Kenosha, WI on March 26, 1952 to the late Sidney and Delores (Jones) Wells. He attended local schools, graduated from Tremper High School in 1970 and attended Gateway Technical College.
On September 2, 1972 at St. Therese Catholic Church he married the love of his life, Boots Elizabeth (Taylor), they shared 51 beautiful years together.
Dave was employed with Frost Company, retiring in 2019 from A.L. Hansen as a Quality Manager.
He was well liked and genuinely caring. He had countless amazing friends and family who all loved to be around him and viewed him as a wonderful person. Dave liked golfing, bowling, washers, pool and dart ball. He was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and loved his beloved Chicago Cubs, he was happiest when they won the World Series. He also enjoyed coaching kids in bowling and baseball, he loved watching his grandkids play. He coached the women’s softball team for Flint’s Inn, leading them to two Rotary Championships.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Boots; his children, Jason (Melissa) Wells and Nicole (John) Robinson; his grandchildren, Ethan (Xionaida) Wells, Gianna Bane, Nolan Sertich, Dylan Wells and Addison Wells, his siblings, Darla Wells and Chris (Jerry) Walker; his big extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services honoring Dave’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the Piasecki Funeral Home.
A visitation for Dave will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
