Born in Franklin, Missouri on February 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Effie (Ammons) Bolton.
Darsine moved from Mississippi and made Kenosha her home for 25 years. She worked at Martino’s Master Dry Cleaners for 10 years; retiring for health reasons.
Her southern comfort food cooking was the best. If she wasn’t cooking, she was making blankets or working all kinds of puzzles. Darsine was very strong in her faith and you could feel that confidence in all she did. There was no question that her faith and family came first.
Darsine will be dearly missed by her children, Karen (Gary) Larson of Oshkosh, WI; Ace Chambers of Salem, WI and Billy Holcomb of Nashville, TN; her 9 grandchildren, Tony Halcome, Misty (Ryan) Krabath, Amanda Gulbransen, Mindy Larson, Ashley Chambers, Anthony Holcomb, David Holcomb, Mackenzie-Stuwert Holcomb and Tatijana Hale; her 3 great grandchildren, Makenna Krabath, Griffin “Griffy” Krabath and Damond Litz along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony and 9 brothers and sisters and a granddaughter in infancy.
Special thanks to Generations Home Care & Hospice, Inc.; especially, Andrea and Kim for their loving care of Darsine.
