Craig was born in Evanston, Illinois to John G. and Judith M. (Swan) Corday. He grew up in Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights in Illinois. Craig was a graduate of Arlington High School and of Northern Illinois University.
Craig was a talented corporate accountant.
In high school, he played on Arlington’s baseball team and was a pitcher with a throwing arm that sent balls across the plate at a rate of 90 miles an hour. Craig remained a devoted friend to the people he met in junior high, high school and college. He continued to make friends everywhere he went. He was an avid concert goer who appreciated blues and classic rock. The Grateful Dead was his lifelong favorite band. Craig truly was an outgoing people person.
In addition, Craig loved animals, especially cats. His beloved brown tabby girl, Lucy, has been adopted by his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey and his sister, Christine.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial remembrances in Craig’s honor to Lakeland Animal Shelter https://lakelandanimalshelter.org would be appreciated.
