She was born in Kenosha on Sept. 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Edward Pilligor and Genevieve Hertlein.
Connie loved to dance, bowl and swim; in fact, she saved a little girl from drowning in Pike’s Creek. In 1944, she won the Miss Kenosha Bathing Beauty contest. Her hobbies included painting, sewing, knitting, gardening and crafts of all types along with cooking and entertaining. When her children were young, she was a Cub Scout Den Mother and a Brownie Leader.
In 1972 Connie and Edgar moved to Green Valley, AZ where they resided for 20 years. During that time they did a lot of traveling which included trips to Hawaii. In 1992 they returned to Kenosha to be closer to family.
Connie was blessed with 4 children, Gloria (Michael) Grealis, George Murray, Patricia (Donald) Maegaard, Donna Kahn, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands John Morgan, James Murray and Edgar Greiner and her brother Robert Pilligor.
The Family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Joseph Garretto, Dr. Shah, the Staff at Manor Care Nursing Home and Hospice Alliance for their amazing care and compassion given to our Mother and family members.
