Charlotte was born in Kenosha on March 20, 1933, the only daughter of Stanley and Carolyn (Schweiner) Przlomski. She attended Kenosha schools.
On June 13, 1959, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Milwaukee, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Harry L. Orth. Her life would change forever when sadly he preceded her in death on December 11, 2001.
Charlotte worked proudly and tirelessly as a registered nurse at the original St. Catherine’s Hospital on 7th Avenue for 35 years, until she retired in 1993.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and served as a member of the Parish Council at the former St. George Parish. She was a member of the Wisconsin Nurses Association and served as the President of the Kenosha/Racine District Nurses Association. As a proud mother, she served as the President of the Kenosha Mothers of Twins Organization and was a member of their national organization.
In her limited spare time, she reveled in the experience of world travel, the company of her Red Hat Society friends, and studying the genealogy of her family.
Char is survived by her ten children, Deborah (Leslie) Lewis, Daniel (Lori) Orth, David (Catherine) Orth, Barbara (Randall) Ward, Julie Strohacker, James (Wanda) Orth, Steven (Barabara) Orth, Karen (Mark) Peterson, Robert (Virginia) Orth, and Michael (Jammie) Orth. She is further survived by 35 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her brother, Dr. Andrew (Pepper) Przlomski and her dear friend who she regarded as a sister, Darlene Venci.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Francis S. Przlomski.
Service Date March 21, 2016
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016, beginning with a prayer service at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4817 7th Avenue. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
