Born on March 16, 1973, in Louisville, Kentucky, he is a son of Charles Thomas “Tom” Stewart, Sr. and Donna (Renfrow) Stewart. He attended schools in Kentucky and graduated from North Bullitt High School in Shepherdsville, KY.
Tom proudly joined the United States Army in 1996. He served as an E5 Sergeant, 15K M1A1 Abrams Tank Operator and was stationed in Humphreys South Korea in 1998 and in Fort Knox Kentucky where he was honorably discharged in 2000. Tom later made Wisconsin his home.
On July 4, 2014 he married Jennifer L. Berry in Dodgeville, WI.
He was previously employed with Warren Industries of Racine but was currently attending Gateway Technical College to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
A huge Louisville Cardinal Basketball fan, Tom loved music and playing his guitar. His favorite band was Queens of the Stone Age. He enjoyed playing Xbox with his son and relatives in Kentucky, was a talented artist and an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He loved to travel with his wife, Jennifer and spend time with his son. He was talented, funny, quick witted, loving, kind, an amazing husband, best father, son, brother and uncle.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; his son, Noah; his mom, Donna Stewart and his dad, Tom (Paula) Stewart. He is further survived by his sister, Jessica (Tauhid) Bondia; his brother, John “Tyler” (Angella) Stewart; step sister, Melanie Heishman; his paternal grandmother, Elsie Stewart and many loving nieces and nephews, Timothy Hibbard, Thomas “Alex”, Breann, Leah and Maximus Stewart as well as Jordan, Joshua and Alexander Berry along with his K-9 companion-English Bulldog, Louie Phil.
Tom was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Stewart and maternal grandparents, John and Frances Renfrow.
Service Date June 10, 2017
A time of sharing with military honors will be held for Tom on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home.
