Charlene A. Polanski, age 90 of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Casa Del Mare.
Born on May 10, 1928 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Esther (Pinzger) Rose. She was educated in local schools and worked in several retail stores retiring from A&P grocery store in 1979.
She married William Fay in 1948, Roy Carlsen in 1977 and Norbert Polanski in 1997.
Charlene was a member of the Retail Clerks Union and St. John’s Lutheran Church, serving on many committees and singing in the choir.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara McDonald, three grandchildren, Zachary McDonald, William (Theresa) McDonald and Kelly Netherton and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husbands, Charlene was preceded in death by her son, Robert Fay.
Service Date July 17, 2018
Funeral services honoring the life of Charlene will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.
