Born in Superior, WI on November 7, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Elodie Naeyaert.
In 1939 at St. Stanislaus in Superior, WI, Cecelia was united in marriage to Joseph Sniadak. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Cecelia worked at a Hawkins Laundry for many years. She made Kenosha her home in 2009.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Francis Altar Society and the Belgium Club in Superior, WI, and was an avid reader, loved to bake, cook and entertain. Cecelia also loved to dance; even up to the day she passed away. She was a social butterfly and will be remember for her endearing love of her family.
Cecelia will be deeply missed by her daughter, Nancy Myer; her grandchildren, Jean Goodwin, Dale (Noreen) Myer and Kimberly Czarnecki; her great-grandchildren, Amy Lumley, Alexandria Czarnecki and Sydney Czarnecki along with her 3 great-great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, James Sniadak; all her siblings, Elizabeth Wigren, Germaine Bergstrom, Martha LePage, Lorraine Kubarek, Edward Naeyaert.
Service Date October 4, 2015
A memorial service celebrating the life of Cecelia will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
