Catherine J. Kubly, age 66, died at Hospice House in Racine on Thursday, July 23, 2015, following a ten-year battle with breast cancer.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha she was born on March 26, 1949; the daughter of the late James L. and Emma A. (Nyborg) Kubly. She attended local schools and successfully completed the Practical Nursing Program from Gateway Technical College in 1967.
Cathy worked at Woodstock Health & Rehab Center for many years. Her hobbies included gardening, crafts and genealogy. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Catherine is survived by her sister Donna (Joseph) Halpin of Kenosha; a half-brother, A. Charles Goepfert of Browntown, WI, along with several nieces and nephews.
Service Date August 4, 2015
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.at Bethany Lutheran Church, 2100 75th Street.
