Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintCarolyn L. Miller, age 74 of Milwaukee passed away unexpectedly January 30, 2016 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital.
Born in Kenosha on March 31, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Louise (Kuchera) Venskus.
On May 12, 1962 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Jerome F. Miller. Sadly, after 37 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on September 29, 2009.
Carolyn was excellent at gardening as it brought her great joy. When she wasn’t gardening, Carolyn loved to cook, trying new recipes, adding her own special touches, baking and spending time with grandchildren.
Survived by her three loving children, Michael Miller, Michelle (Adam) Cook and Anthony (Tanya Ives) Miller; four grandchildren, Emma, Evan, Isabella and Aubrie; sister, Mary Jane (Joe) Pinkston; step-brother, David (Janet) Schani; daughter-in-law, Kristen Miller; very best friend, Sandra Kearny; and constant canine companion, Murphy.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step-father, George Schani; and sister, Joan Johanowicz.
Service Date February 5, 2016
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
