Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintWe are sad to announce the passing of Carol Rose Moldenauer, at age 92, on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Carol passed away with her loving daughter and son-in-law at her side.
Carol, one of eight children, was born on August 14, 1931, to the late Robert and Marie (Roberts) Bricco in New London, Wisconsin. Growing up in Zion, IL, she spent most of her adult life in Kenosha, WI diligently working and providing for her family through many jobs waitressing and spent 18 years at American Motors Corporation (AMC) as an assembly line worker prior to retiring. Following retirement from AMC, Carol worked for Kenosha Hospital until moving to Lady Lake, FL where she spent 9 years enjoying retirement prior to moving back and spending her remaining years in Kenosha.
Carol was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed many hobbies such as baking, singing, dancing, gardening and she loved to entertain family and friends in her home, especially during Christmas. Carol, raised in the Catholic faith, was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kenosha.
On April 24, 1976, Carol was joined to her husband, Harold W. Moldenauer, who preceded her in death following over 20 years of marriage.
Carol left a legacy and will be dearly missed, being survived by three of her children, Gregory (Linda) Richards, Susan (Jerry) Davis and Kathy (Dave) Wilson; two siblings, Albert Bricco and Linda Briggs, her sister-in-law, Joyce Bricco, as well as twelve grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and her husband, Harold, Carol was preceded in death by her son, Mark Anderson; her siblings, DeLou (Gwen) Bricco, Howard Bricco, Agnes (Richard) Williamson, Theresa Minick and Dorothy (Harold) Wilkie, brother-in-law Bob Briggs, and sister-in-law Jo Bricco.

Funeral services honoring Carol’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Piasecki Funeral Home.
Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
A visitation for Carol will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
