Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintCarlos A. “Chico” Delgado Sr., age 87 of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, WI.
Carlos was born on June 2, 1929 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Higinio and Juanita Delgado.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and had been employed with AMC Corp. for over 35 years.
On February 17, 1987, he was united in marriage to Virginia Vargas.
Carlos will be remembered for his daily morning trips to purchase lottery tickets, as well as his fondness for crossword puzzles and joke telling.
Survivors include his wife Virginia; his children, Carlos Delgado Jr., Ramona Cervera, Edwin Delgado, Wendy Neave, Jenny Vargas, and Minerva Maciejczak; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; his half-brother Jose Aponte; and three half-sisters, Aida, Maria, and Virginia Aponte.
Along with his parents, Carlos was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Dubin; two brothers; a sister; and a half-sister.
