Carley F. Huff age 76 of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018.
Born in Rosine, Kentucky on August 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Carl E. and Jessie (Phelps) Stringfield.
She met the love of her life, Blackburn Huff, Jr. at church. They were married on October 25, 1957 in Normal, IL. The congregation loved to hear Blackie play guitar and Carley on her accordion as they sang.
Carley held various past jobs; most recently she worked part time for Dr. Rand A. Lee, DDS.
She is survived by her husband, Blackburn, Jr.; her children, Blackburn Huff III of Kenosha, Aleda Creel of Myrtle Beach, SC, Celeste (Clint) Briggs of Kenosha; grandchildren, Malisa Shepperd, Kassandra Shepperd and Rachael Briggs; great grandchildren, London Tyler and Harper Moore and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Carley was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Carl Stringfield.
Carly was an extra special wife of 60 years, wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who truly will be missed.
Funeral Services honoring Carley’s life were held privately.
