Beverly Ann Gilbert, age 57, of Racine, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
Born on November 9, 1960 in Freeport, IL; she was the daughter of the late Simon and Juanita (Williams) Gilbert.
Beverly attended local schools and pursued an education in culinary arts at Gateway Technical College.
She had a passion for food and cooking; was a talented chef and was employed as a food service manager for St. Catherine’ High School.
Always putting others before herself, Beverly was kind and caring. She loved music and enjoyed singing the National Anthem when given the chance. She enjoyed traveling especially to New Orleans and Las Vegas and had a soft spot for cats.
Beverly is survived by her sister, Florence (Rodney) Howard; her niece, Britni Gilbert and her nephew, Brandon Howard.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael.
Service Date July 5, 2018
Memorial Services honoring Beverly’s life will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Private inurnment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park at a later date.
