Unfortunately I never had a chance to meet this amazing woman. May she rest in peace ?? I have however been fortunate enough to meet one of her children which I am grateful for. Thank you. I know it still hurts. It sounds cliche but it will get easier with time. Life is short and it's full of lessons. Some of us learn the hard way and some never learn at all. I hope you can learn to let yourself grieve and if you ever need a friend to listen you have my number. God bless you and your family. May the odds be forever in your favor.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Betty was a great lady and an inspiration to me in my early adult years, that is still with me today. Always smiling, never angry, and super talented. I always thought, this woman can do anything and everything. What a beautiful life and family you and Vern have created and thank you for all the fun laughs and great memories from long ago. Prayers to you all

Vern, you and Betty were so close that you were two people living as one. Now, you are one person living as two. You can do the crying, Betty can do the smiling and laughing. Don’t forget to let her out. Allen and I are unable to be there with you and your family but our hearts and prayers are with you. Stay strong. Love, Al & Diana

My deepest sympathies to the Swanson Family. Betty and her family played an important part in developing and supporting my musical journey. During my childhood and teenage years there were many live musical and other occasions spent with the ever so gracious and talented Swanson Family. The memories are near and dear to my heart always. Peace be with you all. Cindy Foss, Nashville, TN.
