Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintBenjamin J. “Bennie” Covelli, age 85 of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Froedtert South-Kenosha Hospital Campus.
Born in Kenosha on December 20, 1932, he was the son of the late Ralph and Julia (Tenuta) Covelli.
On January 29, 1955, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Eleanor P. Behn.
For many years, Bennie was employed in the maintenance department with AMC/Chrysler Corporation, retiring in 1988.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Bennie was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He was proud of his meticulous yard and loved cutting grass. His hard work won him the best house on the block award.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Covelli; his two sons, Ralph (Chris) and Bennie Covelli; his brother, Kenneth Covelli; and his grandsons, Joey and Nicholas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jenny Schmickel and Pat Jackson.

Funeral Services honoring Bennie’s life will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
