Born in Albi, Italy on October 3, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Parrotta) Corea.
On December 20, 1964, she was united in marriage to Raffaele “Ralph” Farago in Albi, Italy. She then immigrated to the U.S. in 1965 and proudly obtained her U.S. citizenship.
Aurora and Ralph owned and operated Villa Capri Laundry & Dry Cleaners for 16 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the Mt. Carmel Ladies Society. Aurora enjoyed coordinating the popular Mt. Carmel Homemade Spaghetti dinners for many years. She also volunteered at various Mt. Carmel festival booths. She was an incredible cook and loved to bake. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, Packer games and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She was often seen on her daily walks throughout Kenosha’s south side. Aurora took pride in her immaculate home, loved phone conversations, and enjoyed the winters in Naples, FL; but most of all she cherished the time spent with her granddaughters and family.
Those left to remember Aurora are her husband of 56 years, Ralph Farago; her children, Rita (Mark) Van Guyse and Pasqualino “Charles” Farago; her granddaughters, Sophia, Olivia and Grace Van Guyse; her sisters, Pina Chiarello and Teresa (Nicola) Parrotta; her brother, Francesco (Maria) Corea and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Aurora was preceded in death by her grandson, Luke Van Guyse.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to family and friends for all their support and prayers. In addition, the family would like to thank Hospice Alliance for the loving care they provided to Aurora.
