Born in Chicago, IL on August 8, 1948 to the late Arthur and Marie (Borciek) Reimer. He attended Pulaski Elementary School, Lance Middle School and graduated from Tremper High School.
On August 5, 1978 Art was united in marriage to Karen Matelski. They enjoyed 45 wonderful years together.
Art was employed as a Plant Operator for WE Energies, retiring in 2018. He was a member of the UAW Laborers Union.
He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, cooking with the latest kitchen gadgets, playing on his computer, taking car rides through Pets and by the Lake, but most of all; he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Art will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Karen; his children, Jamie (Greg) Roberts, Christy (Jeremy) Benvenuto, Joe (Vanessa) Reimer and Katie (Devin) Mosley; his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ellie), Joshua (Natalie) and Jaxson Benvenuto, Renee and Jack Roberts and Lance and Jason Mosley; his great grandchildren, Milo and Ryder Benvenuto; his siblings, Pat Hinson, Ethel Benkstein and Glen Reimer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his parents, Arthur and Marie, Art was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Perry, his brother, Steve Reimer and his mother-in-law, Carol Matelski.

Memorial services honoring Art’s life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
