Arlene Young, age 89, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Born on May 2, 1926 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Martha (Hoff) Fischbach. Arlene was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford.
On June 25, 1949, she married Robert G. Young at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Arlene was a member of the Kenosha Genealogy Society and St. John’s Lutheran Church. Her passions included gardening, and bird watching, but most of all spending time with her family.
Arlene is survived by her children, Thomas (Jonni Sue), Richard (Laura), Steven (Jennifer), William (Roberta), and Frederick Young, and Kathryn (Ken) Woods; her two grandchildren, Joanna Young and Andrew Woods and one great-grandchild, Alaina Young.
Along with her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Robert, Emma and Abigail; and her sisters, LaVerne Hagen and Delores Adams.
A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held at the end of July.
