Born in Libertyville, IL on April 6, 1941, she was the daughter of the late David B. and Dorothy (Harris) Keeling.
Ardith honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962.
She was a strong independent woman who always put her family first. On her own, Ardith proudly raised her two sons. With an open heart, she helped others in need and became a “second mom” to many. She always had a special love for animals; especially her cats.
She is survived by her son, Jason (Irene) Keeling; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rossmann-Keeling and Sophia Keeling; her brother, Clyde “Sonny” (Toby) Keeling; her sister, Judith Hensley; and five nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Keeling in 2004; her brother, David Keeling; and a nephew, Miguel Rodgriguez.
The world lost a beautiful, kind and wonderful person, friend, and mom.

A gathering of relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 30, 2014 beginning at 4:00 p.m. and concluding with full military honors at 6:00p.m.
