Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintAloyse L. “Al” Danoski, age 85 of Somers, died on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints Hospital in Racine.
Born in Beaver Dam, WI on June 3, 1932, he was the son of the late Victor and Anna (Polczynski) Danoski. As a child, he moved with his family to Racine.
He honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy.
On April 19, 1952, at St. Rose Catholic Church, Racine, he was united in marriage to Alvara Salerno. After 62 years of marriage, Alvara preceded him in death on November 26, 2014.
For 40 years, he was employed as a stationary engineer with J.I. Case Company.
Al liked vegetable and fruit gardening, cooking, fishing and spending time at the family cabin. He loved hunting and began his preparation in July!
Al will be remembered by his two children, Dan (Michelle) Danoski and Lynn (Rey) Sosa; his grandchildren, Ryan (Sara) Danoski, Jenna (Dan Rice) Danoski, Dan York, Jr., Jarett York, Kelly Sosa and Kyle Sosa; and his great grandchildren, Savanna, Alex, Brenna, Ava and MaryJain Danoski and Brooklyn and Jackson Rice.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn M. Danoski; a brother and six sisters.

Funeral Services for Al will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St., Union Grove, WI 53182.
