Born in Kenosha on January 28, 1945, she was the daughter of Hugh and Florence Whiteford. She attended local schools and graduated from St. Joseph High School, class of 1963.
On April 24, 1965, she married John “Jeff” Ellsworth, later divorced. On July 25th 1996, Alice married Charles H. Anderson.
For over 30 years, she worked in the automotive field; retiring in 2014.
Alice was an avid bowler. She participated in many leagues and tournaments, which included winning the Mother/Daughter doubles tournament in 1994. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, shopping, and rides to Lake Michigan on her golf cart. Alice loved nature, flowers and animals; spending every day feeding the birds and deer that would pass through her yard. It gave her great pride to cook her cherished family recipes. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
Alice will be missed dearly by her husband, Charles; her mother, Florence Whiteford; her four children, Randall Ellsworth, Susan (Bob) Millhouse, Stacy Ellsworth, and Edward (Jenny) Ellsworth; her grandchildren, Brittainy, Alexandria, Cody, Ashley, Luke, Zachary, and Autumn; her great grandchildren, Vivian and Harper ; her sisters, Nancy Janovicz, Rose Zabrauskis, and Mary Verrilli and her special friend, Marge Jarvey, as well as many other family and friends along with her two dogs, Charlie and Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Whiteford.
It goes without saying that Alice will be remembered by her strength, kindness, and honesty. We will always have the beach by her house as a special place to return to, as we miss her.
