Alan, it was a pleasure to help care for you while you were in the hospital. I could always count on you for a joke and to remind each other what being blessed truly meant. I will miss you buddy, until we meet again in Heaven where we have no end.

My condolences to the Owens family. I was a year behind Alan in school and he and I were members of the same Boy Scout Troop 114 at Lane Tabernacle CME Church in Jackson, Tennessee. He was always a delight and was naturally hilarious! Please know that precious memories will sustain you.
