Find Hope and Healing: 2 Local Events to Help You Navigate Grief During the Holidays
The holiday season can be an especially challenging time for those mourning the loss of a loved one. Feelings of grief and loneliness may intensify, making it difficult to find joy amidst the holiday festivities. To help individuals navigate these emotions, Piasecki Funeral Home is hosting two “Surviving the Holidays” events in partnership with Journey Church and Holy Spirit Community Church. These events offer practical strategies, a supportive community, and resources to help you cope with grief during the holidays.
What is “Surviving the Holidays”?
“Surviving the Holidays” is a supportive program designed to offer encouragement and practical tools to those grieving the loss of a loved one during the holiday season. The program provides valuable resources to help you navigate social gatherings, traditions, and difficult emotions, while also offering a space to find comfort and connect with others who understand your experience.
Attending this event allows you to share your journey with others who have experienced similar losses, gain practical strategies for managing grief during the holidays, and access ongoing support.
